Woohoo!!!! It is officially spring. Bring on the longer days, warmer temps and beautiful green everything!

I bet you are doing more walking outside now that it is warming up, right? How about adding Walking Through Ephesians to your exercise plan? I read the other day that it is totally possible to read the Bible, fast and pray, feel convicted and still remain unchanged. Gulp. and Yuck. #checkyourselfsusan

No more time for that kind of nonsense. The world needs us transformed, healthy and whole in all ways. Ephesians is full of beautiful reassurances and practical advice to live our God-purposed life. I can’t wait to dig in!

Join us for this 6 week study beginning Thursday, April 29. We will meet for 6 weeks over Zoom from 2-3:30 cst, so you can join us from anywhere!

All you need is a Bible, a journal and a willing heart. There will be a different discussion leader each week as we ask Holy Spirit to teach us, convict us, challenge us and transform us. Your facilitators will be Keri Sowers , Lacy Spour , Sharon Schaubert, Lisa Teichmiller, Amy Wyatt and me. 

If you feel a pull to say yes… comment below or hit reply and message me. If you feel resistance or a strong “no thanks”, please reconsider. I’m personally learning that strong emotions can be an indication of a need to say “yes” to explorating why. Weird, but true. Anyhoo, we would love you to join us! Will you?

Backstory: Last year, a group of us read through the Bible together in our Morning Exhale FB group (if you want to join the group, click on the invitation in the sidebar. We would love to have you!) This year, I didn’t personally feel led to read all the way through the scriptures, but continue to make Bible Recap available to a bunch of friends who are doing it. Go, Bible Readers!!!!

I did feel led to offer on online Bible study, so some friends in Morning Exhale and I made that happen with God’s help. We just finished our study of Colossians, and it was soooo fun and we learned a bunch together.  Next up is Ephesians!

This is for YOU!

Let me make something clear.

None of we gals who are discussion leaders are Bible scholars. None of us attended Bible college or have any credentials from the world to qualify us for leading. We are God’s daughters who are learning to love HIS word more and more. None of us are Bible scholars, but we are HUNGRY for the Word. We want more Jesus!🙏

So….don’t be scared if you have never even opened a Bible. We are all learners and beginners-it is just easier and fun to study in community. Link arms with us and see what happens, friends!

Ephesians is such a relevant book to what is happening today. It is a letter full of intrigue, magic, occult practices, book burnings, group think, man’s wisdom. Sound familiar?

Paul also reminds us who we are in Christ, reaffirms our place in the world, gives lots of practical advice for living “alive” and tells us how to FIGHT BACK.

God’s word TRANSFORMS US if we allow it. Let’s allow HIM to lead us to the abundant life HE promises.
