Wonderstruck by God Hello, friends! Welcome!  I want you to know I'm so glad you are here today. I'm wonderstruck and blessed  so much that you read, share and comment! Mwah! Brad and I just got back from a little adventure on our anniversary tour. I'm calling any fun things we do this year as a part of our 40th Anniversary Tour because I think it is something to celebrate! And deserves more than 24 hours. Trying to squeeze in one more trip before farming season begins, we had Plan A, … [Read more...]

How to Help My Neighbor

How to Help My Neighbor Hello, friends! Can we discuss something hard today? This is a topic about which I'm so conflicted. I'm not confused about if I should do it, but I'm mixed up about HOW to do it. I want to talk about loving my neighbor. About how to help people. When Jesus was asked by a Pharisee which commands in God's law were the most important, here was His answer: Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence. Christmas, holy life

Hello, Friends! Ok. I have to admit that I giggled as I wrote the title of this post. I DO NOT KNOW how to live a HOLY LIFE, but I'm trying to figure it out and I desire to live a life that is honoring to Jesus. I bet you do, too. I wish we could sit down with a cup of coffee, heavy on the flavored creamer, and share what God is teaching us. Living a HOLY LIFE isn't something just for those in vocational ministry and a pipe-dream for the rest of us. In the second letter Paul wrote to his … [Read more...]

Fighting Back with JOY

June 22, 2015 | 5 Comments

Have you ever heard of Margaret Feinberg? She was new to me until this spring when my friend suggested we do one of her Bible studies with our small group. I am so glad we met through the pages of her study. She is ONE. WISE. WOMAN. A flat-out gifted teacher of the word. And I now know that she is a big deal in the Christian publishing/speaking world. She has written 4 books and Bible studies, has been featured in lots of media, and is a popular speaker at big events like Catalyst and … [Read more...]

One Little Word…..JOY

March 11, 2015 | 3 Comments

Have you heard about One Little Word? It’s a project that has been popular in the blogging world for several years and one in which I have participated. The idea is to choose a “word” that will be your focus for the year.    Last year, I chose LEARN as my word with a goal of trying to learn a lot of new things. I even had a charm stamped with my word on it to put on one of my many bracelets.   I guess I should have made a large banner instead, because as is my all-too-frequent … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
