What I Learned When I Studied Ephesians

June 6, 2021 | Leave a Comment

What I Learned When I Studied Ephesians Hello, Lovely Ones! Some friends and I spent the last 6 weeks immersed in the book of Ephesians. Having read the book several times before, many of the verses were somewhat familiar. However, when you spend concentrated time reading the same passages over and over and over, asking Holy Spirit to reveal to you what you need to know, everything changes.  If you decide to study that way, prepare to be challenged! THE WORD is different from … [Read more...]

Remember and Appreciate Hello, Friends! Well, here we are. The craziness continues, the rain is falling, the voices are still shouting. But God. Yesterday at church our oldest son, Brady, gave the communion meditation. It blessed me and I thought it would you, too. The best thing is that he doesn't just say the right words, he is living them. My farmers are big drinkers, too, and I’m always searching for containers to take drinks to the field when the men are working 18 hour days. It seems the thermoses disappear, water jugs get lost or left in pickups at the other end of the field. I have to use whatever containers with lids I can find … [Read more...]

Meditation for Christians

How to Meditate to Lessen Stress and Increase Joy Hello, Friends! Today we are going to talk about meditation for Christians, but before we jump into the conversation.... Take a comfy seat, bring your hands together in prayer position, close your eyes. Inhale slowly through the nose, letting your belly expand like a balloon and filling your lungs all the way to your collarbones. Next, exhale slowly through your nose, drawing your naval toward your spine to completely empty your lungs. … [Read more...]
