Supernatural Transformation

Supernatural Transformation

Hello, lovely friends!

Have you noticed how our society seems obsessed with the supernatural? I guess I am, too, because now I am enraptured with Supernatural Transformation.

People have decorated for fall with mums and pumpkins, but for many, skeletons, bloody masks, scary movies will soon be center stage.  An interest in the supernatural seems rampant. Contacting the dead through mediums is so common place that there are TELEVISION SHOWS about it. And we won’t even go down the road of some of the horrible things that have been revealed during the last few months.  Evil. Pure Evil.

How did that happen?

Grandma said NO!

It is really nothing new because my Grandma Marrs warned me about it when I was a teenager and she learned that Diana Weishaar and I were messing with a Ouija board trying to find out who our next boyfriends would be. She told me to NEVER mess with evil spirits because they were real and not something to be fooled with or taken lightly.

I listened, until peer pressure became too much and I caved. There was the time I never told Grandma about when some friends and I in junior high conducted a seance at Barbie’s birthday party and tried to contact John F. Kennedy, Jr..

We got the stuffings scared out of us.

Sidebar: Is there something redeeming about the fact that our desire was to hear from an admirable historical figure? I didn’t think so.

Grandma, who was born in 1901, shared with me the time her grown kids and the other young couples in the neighborhood, gathered for a Halloween party and tried to use their minds to raise a big table from the floor. Something went horribly wrong and an oil lamp was knocked over causing a fire. Thankfully no one was injured, but those kids all learned the lesson not to mess with evil.

She finally made a believer out of me, so now,  I choose to protect myself from such things.

Holy Ghost

However, I am a total believer that the Holy Spirit, whom our church called the Holy Ghost when I was a kid, is real and ALIVE in ME. And it doesn’t scare me a bit!!!!

Are you in for being transformed from the inside out by a Holy Ghost? I sure am!

If you are up for it, I want to invite you to join us on October 1 as we begin to read through the New Testament together in our Morning Exhale Facebook group.

Here are the details:

  1. Ask to join the group. Message me or hit reply or click here. Morning Exhale
  2. Beginning October 1 and every day the rest of 2020, go to Morning Exhale on Fb where I will post the day’s reading and a link to the Bible Recap Podcast.
  3. After completing the task for the day, I hope you come back to the FB post and tell us your takeaway or a highlight. It will be so fun to learn together.

Scripture can be read for a number of reasons: for information, for comfort, for encouragement. All of those are super reasons.

But, my favorite reason is SUPERNATURAL to let the scriptures read me, to learn more about God’s character, and to allow the Holy Spirit to transform me into who God created me to be.

I want this GHOST to be turned loose in my life.

Let’s end 2020 on a high note, different than when we started and changed by SUPERNATURAL TRANSFORMATION!

More about transformation…Transformation: Soul

big hugs
