What is a Life Coach?

What qualifies me to lead such a workshop and make such bold statements?

I’ve spent the last 3 years working with a Life Coach and the last 4 months deeply entrenched in a certification program to become a Christian Life Coach.

You may be wondering, “What in the world is a Christian Life Coach?”

I’m so glad you asked!

I first heard the job title about 10 years ago at my first She Speaks Conference.

Back to what is a Life Coach…..The first time I heard the term, I laughed inside at the entire idea. I wasn’t even curious about what a Life Coach was. It sounded so “ Oprah” and “Dr. Phil” and ridiculous.

My judgmental side told me, “I read the Bible and go to church. Heck, I even attend Sunday School. Why would I need a life coach? God is my coach.” (Not my best moment.)

And He definitely is, but He also uses His children to be a part of the team.

So, through a series of serendipitous events, I hired a Life Coach, and learned so much, and experienced growth and now, here I am, a Christian Life Coach!

God has a sense of humor, right? Yes, God has a big sense of humor-another reason I love Him!

What’s In It For You

Learning to observe my thoughts and stop operating from unhelpful emotions has CHANGED ME. Scripture tells us so much about what we are to think about. I’ve been seeking Godly transformation in my life for many years now and Christian Life Coaching has shown me one path to make it happen.

Wanting it to happen didn’t change me, but learning these practical tools has set me on the path.

Here is what I know:

No matter what your age, God has a purpose for your life. You were created in His image to be HIS apprentice, to make disciples, to love your neighbor as yourself, and God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. Nobody gets a pass.

Your life matters, your voice matters, your heart matters-YOU MATTER!

The Summer Reset Workshop will give you the tools to take the next steps in your journey toward wholeness. We will talk about all the important things that can trap us-habits, people pleasing, relationships, money, health, time management, purpose.
