Shoe Shoppe

May 22, 2012 | 9 Comments

I am a shoe girl.

Some people have lots of purses, but not me.

I can’t resist a cute pair of shoes.

Especially if they are comfy.

And reasonably priced.

And probably from TJ or Marshalls.

I’m a die-hard Maxxinista.

I like these……
                                                      Sperry Top-Sider - Angelfish
even though I wore something similar the first time they were in style.

And these…..
                                                     Donald J Pliner - Hadiya
even though I would NEVER pay $198.00 for a pair of sandals. Boots, maybe, if I was feeling weak.

And these…..
                                                     Franco Sarto - Notice

I could wear with almost everything in my closet. Don’t you agree that animal print is the new neutral?

My shoe world was rocked when I read this, and I discovered all those cute shoes I loved-and about 95% of those in my closet-were ALL WRONG.

Shocking.

Disturbing.

Disappointing.

Wonder what the experts would say about these?
                                                  Tony Lama - ZAP015L

I think I have about 60 seconds before I am too old to wear them, so I had better get with it!

Are you a cowboy boot and dress wearer? Tell me all about it, please!

 Hugs,

Linking up a little late to……go check it out!

Love the cowboy boots, Susan! I only have one pair so far, but I really want more. Mine are blue suede.

Coming from a Texas girl…NOTHING beats a good pair of cowgirl boots! And you're NEVER too old or young to wear them. 🙂 Found you through Debbiedoo's Newbie Party. I am happy to be now following and look forward to seeing more of your delightful blog!

I've always wanted a pair of red and cream cowboy boots. You can never take the "experts" too seriously.

I am so not a shoe girl…maybe wear 3 or 4 on a regular basis. Could live in flip flops everyday in the summer. How in the world do people walk in those wedges? I would surely topple over and fall off those things since I have such a terrible sense of balance (might explain why I am not a shoe girl. :))

Most definitely a boot kinda girl here! I wear mine with lots of different outfits and I think people at church might find that a little strange, but I don't care. It's just part of who I am, a country girl at heart.

Found you through FJI and perused your blog a bit. I love to read about farms/country life/ranches/etc. and I enjoyed your blog and I'll be back again for sure. I'm your newest follower.
