Essential Oils for People Who Do the Dirty Work

Essential Oils for People Who Do the Dirty  Work

Hello, lovely friends!

Here we are in day-who-the-heck-remembers of our quarantine life. But the show must go on, right?

It isn’t getting any easier for me. How about you?

I need to be with my people and now more than ever, I want everyone to be “my people”. If I don’t know you yet, I want to. Hearing your story, learning what you know, discovering how God is transforming you…..could you come over for coffee as soon as this is over and tell me everything?

This is an invitation to get together not in person, but the next best way-through Zoom. Never used Zoom before? Don’t be scared to try it! Click the link I will send you and follow the prompts on your laptop. Download the app if you are going to participate on your phone. If everything works right, I’ll even record the class and send it to you if you can’t join us live.

Anyhoo….about 5 years ago, Brad and I took off our skeptical hats and gave Young Living essential oils a try. To say they have changed our lives isn’t even an overstatement of the truth. We use our oils for everything, have basically broken up with the drugstore except for my thyroid medicine (if I’d known then what I know now, I probably wouldn’t have to take this daily prescription) and have ditched and switched from toxic products wherever possible.

Of course, we are super grateful for our modern healthcare system and will use it when necessary, but we use what God created first if we can. Eating whole foods, drinking lots of water, getting enough sleep, controlling stress and exercising are all known to help people stay above the wellness line.

We aren’t perfect at it and I still have to fight my sugar demons, but if using an essential oil can help with a headache or help skin heal or kill ants, why wouldn’t we want to give our liver a break and turn to the oil first instead of something with side effects?

On Monday, April 20 at 8 p.m. CST, we are teaching a class that I’ve been dreaming of for a couple of years, Essential Oils for Farmers, Ranchers and Truckers. 🚜🚛🐄

My respect for these people and the work they do is HUGE. Their hard work is often overlooked by society, but those of us in the know are THANKFUL for then and their steady hand-to-the plow persistence. 🙏

These people know how to DO THINGS this world needs and they need to take GOOD CARE of themselves.
Sidebar: I realize that I probably don’t have a huge crowd of readers who are farmers, ranchers and truck drivers, but I’m hoping the gals who love them will take the class and share the info! Will you do that for me, friends?
A couple of years ago, I spent a week in Paris. (If I didn’t have the pictures to prove it, I would almost not believe it myself. Oh, my gosh, I hope I get to travel the world again someday!) During that time, I became fascinated by looking at hands.  Disturbingly, I saw NO MEN who had hands like the men I grew up with and who are still an important part of our community.
I saw NO CALLUSES-no evidence that those hands had been used for hard work or anything tougher than tapping a keyboard. Honestly, I thought to myself, “We are in trouble.”  No doubt, France has manly men, too, but I just didn’t see them.
Those men who push pencils and keyboards are essential to our economy, but we are sunk if we lose the people who know how to use their hands to create, to plant, to deliver, to build, to nurture, to fix things, to get dirty and rough and calloused from hard physical labor.
So, this class is for you guys and gals-the people who keep this world WORKING.
We’ve been using essential oils on our farm now for over 5 years, and I’m on a mission to share natural options with the world! What do you have to lose? Not a thing, and the upside potential is HUGE!
You can read more here:   10 Reasons I Love Essential Oils

Please join me Monday, April 20 at 8 p.m. CST to learn all about it.
Comment, hit reply and respond or send me a private message and I’ll send you the link for the class.
See you there!

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
