We are back from our trip and I have lots to share with you. (Hello! Is anyone out there?)
We loved our trip up the western side of Michigan and definitely hope to return soon
This is a Lake Michigan sunset. This pic came from google not my camera. |
.
Unfortunately, while we were gone, our computer decided it needed a vacation too, and we can’t get it to turn on. I’m trying to stay calm and trust that our techie can fix it at least long enough to save what I had on it.
I will not panic thinking about the hours I spent creating documents for The PUSH.
I will twiddle my thumbs and not think about the boatload of money I paid to attend She Speaks and that I may have to retype lots of things I was taking with me.
I will stay pleasant and not think about all the pictures I have taken that I never got transferred over to Shutterfly.
Can anyone say, “Back up your files?”
Of course, the lesson of this story is very clear.
I hope I learned it this time.
Hugs,

Beautiful image and I am so sorry that you are having computer problems. It does create a type of panic, doesn't it? xo Diana

I'm so sorry about your computer, it's hard not to be upset when something like that happens…especially in the middle of a wonderful time…you almost feel like a little evil something is trying to ruin your beautiful moment. Blessings… right in the middle of your situation, Cynthia.

Oh that is AWFUL (and scary for this girl who never backs up anything.) I should learn from your lesson. Hope you can find a tech person to help.

I'm so sorry to learn of your computer issues. Hopefully all will be okay. My laptop has gone black and needs to be taken in too. I'm trusting that they can run "ghost" or similar program and save all my important files and photos. Lesson learned.
On a happier note…YOU WENT TO WEST MICHIGAN?!!!!! It's my most favorite place in all the world. I grew up there. After college & our wedding we lived in Spring Lake until God called us away for ministry. Where were you????? I love your photo of the lake!! Gorgeous!!

I think I know where that photo was taken….in Muskegon, MI…looking toward Grand Haven. Yes? Of course Google probably doesn't say.

I am not the best either. Good reminder! Good luck!!!
