April 6, 2017 | 13 Comments

Bucket Lists, Apple Cake and P. Allen Smith Do you have a bucket list? I have had one in my head for some time but have never actually committed it to paper. That is about to change. I spoke this week to the CEO class of our local high school about blogging-what a privilege to speak to these talented kids! They were so polite and engaged and asked great questions. I mentioned my "bucket list" and referenced things I had done that were on it. When one of the girls asked me what was on my … [Read more...]

These women were farm wives who raised big gardens alongside their big families and who packed big picnic lunches to take to the … [Read more...]

You know the one I'm talking about?Thought so.We are going to have guests in our home for two nights, maybe three so I have been doing a little preparation for that. I just took these delicious muffins out of … [Read more...]

These are raspberries we picked in Montana. They have nothing to do with the subject of the post, but I found this pic and it brought back wonderful summer memories!Hello, girls!Thought I would share one of my most favorite recipes ever.Well, since someone brought these to my house last year, and I fell in love with them just a little. Thanks to Dolores. She used to cut my hair and we both cried when she laid down her scissors a few years ago and we had to say good-bye. I loved our monthly … [Read more...]
