Friday Fashion Fun

September 20, 2013 | 4 Comments

Meet my new favorite fashion blogger, Seersucker and Saddles. I love her style. Her outfits are just plain cute and accessible. I would wear gobs of them. Her occasional potty mouth doesn't do anything for me though, so I usually just look at the pictures. And then get mad at myself that I gave away my little jean vest a few years ago. Who knew they would come back in style?seersucker and saddlesI would never wear a skirt this short, but I love the layering on the top half of the … [Read more...]

Fashion Friday-Fall 2013

September 6, 2013 | 13 Comments

I have been in a fashion slump this summer, but I feel myself slowing coming out of it. One of my favorite parts or working full time was getting dressed in the morning. I enjoyed playing with my clothes and coming up with different combinations-some winners, some not!Since I don't have a 9-5 job anymore, my wardrobe needs have changed. Friday Fashion Fun…Spring

March 2, 2013 | 9 Comments

Before we know it, we will be packing away our winter things-or at least shoving them to the back of the closet-and reaching for spring clothes.I don't know about you, but I have some winter things that need to be purged. I want unique but stylish outfits … [Read more...]

This is post is part of my 31 Days of Transformation Series. To view the rest of my posts, check the tab above. Can you tell I am conflicted? Yesterday I wrote about getting rid of excess, and today I am posting about clothing for fall. Yeeks!I am a work in progress.I don't think it is wrong to wear cute clothes, but I don't need to buy more than I can wear or things I don't really like just because they are there or on sale. However, I do think that we all need a few things to transform our … [Read more...]

Fashion Friday-Better Get One

September 29, 2012 | 9 Comments

Do you have a denim jacket? If not, my fashion advice is, "Run out and get one now."I bet you will be glad you did.The girl in this video is a LOT younger than I am, but I am totally going to copy the spirit of her outfits and adapt them to my life.I have two that I love to wear and neither of them is new. One of them I picked up several years ago and is a Converse from Target. It is made from a stretchy black denim.I also have one from Gap that I paid more for than I intended, but it was … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
