To read the rest of the series, click the tab above. Our day today began EARLY, while it was still dark, as we headed across the state border for the Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County, Indiana.I am a relative newbie at this event. I was not impressed the first time I attended many years ago. This time, I went with Amanda, who should be a tour guide there. She drove us past lots and lots of vendors and took us right to the … [Read more...]

This post is part of my 31 Days of Transformation series. To read the rest of the series, click the tab above. This is my scooter Starsky. We went for a ride the other day, probably the last one of the season unless it warms up a bit. The countryside is transforming before our very eyes. The trees are beginning to turn and it looks like we will have a much prettier fall than we expected. Then the Wind Blew

March 7, 2012 | 11 Comments

Yesterday, I met God's hands and feet. This scene went on for blocks and blocks.Five of us loaded up chainsaws, rakes, shovels, gloves, peanut better sandwiches , and Starburst jelly beans, and headed south to Harrisburg, Illinois. This region was the sight of a deadly tornado just a few days ago.Needless to say, we went to be a blessing to others and ended up being blessed ourselves. Isn't is amazing how God works? He is so good like that.Harrisburg is very near Shawnee National Forest and in … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
