I’m Not Saying Goodbye to Christmas…..

December 28, 2013 | 17 Comments

December 25thhas come and gone, but I am hanging on to the Christmas feeling with all ten of my need-to-get-a-manicure fingers. How about you?Our holiday has not been perfect by any means. As a matter of fact, I was quite disappointed by some things and some people.BUT...I'm choosing NOT to focus on that, but instead to center my thoughts on those wonderful moments that made this holiday season so special. My Favorite Christmas Memories 20131. Thanksmas with the Shull side. I wrote about this … [Read more...]

She is Better than Me, Dealing with Comparison Hello, Friends! You might not like me very much after this post. I'm going to confess something today and it isn't pretty. It is a character trait that I wish wasn't connected with me. This nastiness is comparison. For most of my life, I have felt like I didn't measure up. I wasn't smart enough, funny enough, serious enough, clever enough, responsible enough, pretty enough, skinny enough, dressed cute enough, productive … [Read more...]

Let’s Dance!

March 21, 2013 | 14 Comments

I think we have all seen those creations.Love this wall that … [Read more...]

Spring Starts and Stops

March 12, 2013 | 14 Comments

Hasn't our March weather been "interesting"? It was 63 here on Sunday and yesterday I saw snowflakes several times.Crazy.But, the sun is shining today and the sky is blue.We planted wheat last fall in the field right behind our house and it is starting to wake up and grow and is turning bright green.Blessings.Most of these were our boys'  Bibles when they were kids. Activity is picking up in a big way here on the farm and my boys have SPRING fever. They have begun getting equipment out … [Read more...]

Conflicted

March 4, 2013 | 16 Comments

(I want to apologize for the pictures around here that are misbehaving. Hopefully, things will get fixed soon!)Last week, hubs and I headed out on a little one day road trip.Brad has been researching and studying for almost two years as we prepare to spend major bucks on a new grain handling system. This will be a game changer around here, making things move more quickly and smoothly (fingers crossed) on the farm during fall harvest. He wanted to look up close and personal at a couple … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
