How to Be Married Part 3

September 19, 2016 | Leave a Comment

Welcome to Part 3 of our series "How to Be Married". Having a good marriage takes hard work and I know 40 years ago, Brad and I had no idea what was involved.  Perhaps if we parents and grandparents encouraged young people to spend as much time planning their life together as they spend planning the wedding, divorce rates would decrease. I love the wonderful advice that our friends have shared-advice that came straight from the heart and years of experience learning the give and take of … [Read more...]

Karen, my dear sister, was scheduled to go with us, but she opted to stay home and farm, so Debbie, my dear friend, joined us. We had an absolutely fabulous time. (I will not even get into the guilt I felt at leaving my farmers during the absolute busiest time of year after an incredibly wet and stressful spring. Let's just say I owe … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
