Sweeter than Honey to My Mouth

March 25, 2014 | 8 Comments

Hello, friends!First of all, I want to thank you for your kind comments about the pictures I included in my last post. What a surprise!I was so disappointed when we hiked in Sedona and then again when we stepped up to the edge of the Grand Canyon. Both times I pulled out my "good" camera and the battery was deader than a doornail. I had even had it on the charger all night before the Grand Canyon, but apparently the outlet wasn't working and I didn't notice. Grrr.Sidebar: I just have a … [Read more...]

One Way to Study the Bible

February 25, 2014 | 14 Comments

Good Morning, Sweeties!I am in the midst of packing anxiety. We are headed for a little adventure in a few days, and I am obsessing over what to take with me. Most of the time I wait until the last minute to pack, but I can't do that this time. I have to be ready TODAY.Here are my dilemmas.....             I want to wear cute outfits, but I don't want to drag too many things with me.             Should I take a suitcase full … [Read more...]

Fresh Starts

Are you a Bible study girl? Me, too.I've participated in many group studies that required homework and time in the word, but lately I found I craved more. Even though I was in my Bible, filling in the blanks in the lessons we were completing, I somehow felt something was missing. That there was more I should be learning.I didn't want to start another read-through-the-Bible-in-a-year plan, even though those are very good. I've done that a few times and highly recommend it if you have never read … [Read more...]

Love, Love, Love!

Merry Christmas, Dear Internet Friends!I hope you are enjoying this day wrapped in the love of family and friends. But if you are spending this day alone, or Christmas for you is a sad and lonely time- even if you are surrounded by people- please know that the love of Jesus is right there for the taking. This advent season, I have been so touched by the fact that LOVE was born all those years ago. Scripture tells us that Jesus is the physical representation of the character of God-and God is … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
