September 18, 2013 | 3 Comments

Good Morning, friends!I am nervously throwing this out there into the hinterlands of the internet......I am hosting my first linky party and I would love to have you join me.There are no party decorations, no chocolate, and you don't have to get all dressed up to come. You will get a HUGE party favor if you attend-sweet communion with Jesus, the guest of honor, as you listen to music that praises HIM. I invite you to link up a post that shares with the rest of us Christian music that is … [Read more...]

Wednesday Worship-Tim Timmons

September 11, 2013 | 5 Comments

WooHoo!I am actually posting Worship Wednesday two weeks in a row!God is really using music right now to get in my business. How about you?I have heard this song several times on KLOVE and I really like the words and the happy beat. The message is powerful, and the happy sound encourages me.And then I watched the video explaining the inspiration behind the song, and that took my admiration to a whole new level.Hope you enjoy it, too! What music is inspiring you this week? I'd love to know! … [Read more...]

Do You Really See Me?

Have you ever felt invisible? This little beauty will never be invisible!A couple of years ago, I went shopping with my daughter-in-law and my sweet little granddaughters. Girl-with-camera-pointing-forward

She is Better than Me, Dealing with Comparison Hello, Friends! You might not like me very much after this post. I'm going to confess something today and it isn't pretty. It is a character trait that I wish wasn't connected with me. This nastiness is comparison. For most of my life, I have felt like I didn't measure up. I wasn't smart enough, funny enough, serious enough, clever enough, responsible enough, pretty enough, skinny enough, dressed cute enough, productive … [Read more...]

Making Room

March 29, 2013 | 13 Comments

Holy week.I don't know about you, but it seems like it has been really hard to focus on the important things during this Easter season.Maybe it's because we are celebrating so early this year.Maybe it is the way Christianity has been so marginalized in our society.Easiest wreath ever...scraps, foam wreath form, glue gun...done.Maybe it is the snow we had last week after the calendar said it was spring.Maybe it is the unseasonably cold temps.Maybe it is my cold heart.Last weekend we were blessed … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
