Yesterday at church our oldest son, Brady, gave the communion meditation. It blessed me and I thought it would you, too. The best thing is that he doesn't just say the right words, he is living them. This generation of Christ followers is on FIRE and I think it is so encouraging. They are either in or out, it seems, because there aren't … [Read more...]

July 15, 2020 | 12 Comments

How I Manage My Thoughts Hello, Friends! Stories for a June Day

June 24, 2020 | Leave a Comment

Stories for a June Day Hello, Lovely Friends! What a beautiful summer day we have on our hands here in south-central Illinois! The sky is sooooo blue with the perfect number of fluffy white clouds demanding to be noticed, and the crops are every shade of green and growing like crazy. Truth be told, I almost feel like we live in a painting about rural life! There are big round bales of hay everywhere, gardens are thriving and the flowers are breathtaking. I just played pickleball with … [Read more...]

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
