Friday Fashion Fun

January 20, 2012 | 6 Comments

I used to be a drive-by shopper. This isn't my car, but I would love to have a '57 station wagon this color. Our lives used to be entirely eaten up with sporting events and other activities our boys were involved in. I loved every minute of it, but I had VERY little time to look for cute clothes for me. Our carpenter is supposed to start in February, and after all this time of thinking about it, I'm not sure exactly what I want.Yeeks! This is supposed to be fun and the stress isn't supposed to start until the construction mess begins! January 16, 2012 | 4 Comments

Follower.Generally, when I hear the word "follower", it has very negative connotations. It brings words to mind like: Copycat andInsecureandUnoriginalHowever, my feelings on this word have changed greatly since I am reading a very thought-provoking and convicting book Not a Fan by Kyle Idleman.Have you heard about this book? If you are a Christian, I hope you get on Amazon right now and order it.It is that good, and it is changing the way I think about my walk with Christ.I don't … [Read more...]

I’m a Little Embarrassed, But Guess I Will Go On

January 14, 2012 | 2 Comments

It is Friday and in my plan for this blog, today we are supposed to have fun with fashion. But as I sat down to write this post, I first checked out a few of my favorite blogs and with just a few clicks of the mouse I landed here.  Where I preceded to get a little smack down on the excesses of my life. I didn't stay on this site for long, but I do plan to go back and read some more when I have the courage. How do these blog girls do it? They home school their kids, … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
