Midsummer’s Night Fashion Spruce-Up

July 14, 2012 | 5 Comments

I'm blaming the heat for being in the fashion doldrums. The hot summer days don't seem to be ending anytime soon, so I am seeking some get-out-of-the-same-old-clothes-rut help. How about you-are you tired of wearing the same old shorts or -gasp-capris?Let's hit the sales and spruce up those summer wardrobes, shall we?This outfit from polyvore is very simple, but eye-catching and easily copy-able. Do you have white pants? So Nice

I was so tickled yesterday when I got an email from shabby gal, one of my new blog friends. I stumbled upon her blog from a linky party and loved what I saw. She is lives in a rural area in Iowa that sounds a lot like my community. Her great painted furniture and creativity make me wish I lived close by so I could purchase a thing or two or three. Please click over, check out her blog, and become a follower too!I love getting emails from readers, but when I actually read her … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
