Stuffed Please

December 7, 2012 | 9 Comments

These are raspberries we picked in Montana. They have nothing to do with the subject of the post, but I found this pic and it brought back wonderful summer memories!Hello, girls!Thought I would share one of my most favorite recipes ever.Well, since someone brought these to my house last year, and I fell in love with them just a little. Thanks to Dolores. She used to cut my hair and we both cried when she laid down her scissors a few years ago and we had to say good-bye. I loved our monthly … [Read more...]

Sparkle One and Sparkle Two

December 5, 2012 | 9 Comments

I think I am almost finished decorating for Christmas. I bet you are, too. Now if we would just stay home long enough to enjoy the trees all lit up. Know what I mean?We would enjoy driving up to our house with the soft glow in the windows, but I'm afraid to leave the spinning lights of our silver trees plugged in when we are not home. We have been outside this afternoon enjoying this beautiful December (Really? It is almost 70 degrees!) day.I have been finishing some garden chores that I had just not done, and Brad is putting up Christmas lights. (Thanks, sweetie!)I'm a terrible procrastinator.Bad me.But wait. This post isn't about me.sorry.So before we say good-bye to fall altogether, here is one more pic of harvest. Besides that, we heard a sermon today about Solomon, so this verse is very fitting, don't you think?Hope you … [Read more...]

Color, Color, Color

November 27, 2012 | 14 Comments

I know everyone else is busy putting up their Christmas trees and stretching garland and lights, but not me.At least not today.I am dreaming of new paint colors for the new year. Time flies, and it has been longer than I think since we have spruced things up in the main level of this farmhouse.Change is good, right?I love the happy brightness of the Ethan Allen Vintage line, and I am going to attempt to have a similar vibe in our home.                … [Read more...]

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
