Are you one of those people?
The one who makes to-do lists, and actually does what she writes down?
The kind of person who measures the success of her day by what she accomplishes? The kind who always follows through on her commitments?
Obviously, the blog world is full of people who are just like you. I am amazed at the painting, redecorating, crafting, cooking, reading, just plain DOING that some of you describe on your blogs. How you manage to do all that and then BLOG about it is amazing to me.

I am a procrastinator. A piddler.
I have fought this my whole life. My brain knows that I should “just do it”. Whatever “it” is. But my inner brat says, ” NO, I want to do this instead.” I do get a lot of things done, just not what I maybe should be doing….
…. and it causes tons of unnecessary stress and ultimately nights of tossing and turning as I try to figure out ways to get out of the tight spots where I often find myself.

Oh, I can. Taking care of our relationships with God is supposed to be #1 on the list always then other things fall into place :). Thanks for sharing, have a wonderful Tuesday!

I am pretty good at making lists in my head. At night I am grateful for what I accomplished, not the other way around. Days can be daunting, I am looking at a house that seems a tornado came through! lol! But it all gets done in good time! 🙂

Wow, can I ever relate! You could have been talking about me! I've always been horrible about procrastinating. In high school, I had to stay up all night more than once trying to complete a project I waited until the last minute to do. And now in my adult life it translates to struggling with keeping my priorities straight with God, family, and responsibilities. I'm trying to do better and some days I do great and others….not so much.
Great post, and thanks for sharing.

Wow can I ever relate! I am the worst at starting two new projects when I have five others unfinished. It is something I really struggle with. I haven't been able to change that pattern yet but I'm not going to give up on trying to get first things done first! Best wishes to all of us who are trying to improve and make each day better. Thanks for this post, you have really encouraged me to work on this too!!

I am pretty good at getting things done. I DO make lists and then number them as to priority…I know, I know-it's a sickness. And I ALWAYS do the hardest things first so they are out of the way. I think maybe because I came from a farming background that I feel guilty if I am not doing something- xo Diana

I call myself "Queen of the Pile" because I call myself cleaning by moving one mess to another spot.
And I piddle something awful!

What a wonderful post! I'm a list maker. Nothing gets done without a list. But the list is also a source of guilt … a reminder of failure …

P.S. Go corn go!

I'm a list maker, but I don't think everything ever gets crossed off the list. Change is good – but HARD!

I am a list maker, but if I don't get it all down on paper, it just runs around all jumbled in my head. I feel more organized with lists and more focused. I have way too many ideas and things to get done – so the lists will never be totally finished. Somewhere I do need to put "down time" on the list. That is the thing that never happens.

I have been a list maker since childhood.. and almost as long I've been a procrastinator. Funny part is, since blogging, I get more done 🙂 It has put a "fun" aspect to it all.
You always have such wonderful projects, ideas, & makeovers on your blog which just makes visiting that much more fun. I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award. You can check out all the info on my blog. Congratulations!
