I’m No Longer Embarrassed!

October 9, 2012 | 4 Comments

This post is part of my 31 Days of Transformation series. To read the rest of the series, click the tab above.

I have been mad at my blog several times in the 10 months we have been together. I had no idea what I was doing when I started it, and even though as a teacher I had lots of experience on the computer, the learning curve for making A Vintage Farmwife look good was pretty high.

I wrote about spanking my blog once, but in the end, no violence was necessary.

My sweet blogging friend, Phyllis, from blissitydoodah (don’t you just love that name?) took pity on me and made me some new headers. They were great and boosted my internet-self confidence.

However, last week, in the way things go in blogland, one click led to another click which eventually landed me at Traci’s blog, Ordinary Inspirations. I loved the way her blog looked so I contacted her about her blog design services.

Before I knew it, I had a new blog design that I just love! Traci was very easy to work with and didn’t laugh out loud at any of the silly questions that revealed my technological ” issues”. I felt like her price was reasonable, especially considering that it would have probably taken me months to figure out what she was able to do in a few hours.

Or minutes.

I have no idea!

She is a young Christian momma so that was the icing on the cake for me.

My blog and I both thank you so much, Traci!

If you are in the market for a blog spruce-up, I suggest you give Traci a try. I think you will be glad you did.

I think how you felt before, was how I felt in fifth grade when Mama made me wear mid-calf socks and knee socks were in style šŸ™‚
    Your blog looks beautiful now!

Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam feedback? If so how do you prevent it, any plugin or anything you can recommend? I get so much lately it's driving me mad so any support is very much appreciated.

Welcome!

I am so glad you are here today. I come from a long legacy of farmers and am married to a handsome farmer now. Some of my favorite things are cooking, yoga, essential oils, and most importantly, Jesus!

I live a different yet fulfilling life here on the farm. I hope you will find encouragement within these pages and know that you are loved dearly by the King!
