I am so excited to attend The Pearl Event II in Nashville tomorrow.
I am going with two of my dearest friends and their husbands. But, darn it! Brad has the flu so I have to go by myself. That is out of my comfort zone, but I have been looking forward to this ever since we first read about it weeks ago. I know God is going to speak to me there. Sibi is the organizer and you can learn a bit about her here.
Is anyone else out there too well acquainted with her DVR? I never used to watch TV much, but this winter I have some shows that I don’t want to miss. If someone messes with my recordings, I am ticked!
I love Zooey! Even though the morals of the characters leave lots to be desired and I would never watch the show with my granddaughters or my parents or my mother-in-law, I think it is a hoot. I mean I laugh out loud.
Ok. Maybe I shouldn’t be watching it at all if I would be embarrassed to view it with the above mentioned people. Dang.
I’m changing the subject now.
Have you seen this new magazine?
It jumped off the shelf and into my cart at Wal-mart last night, and I’m excited to see what is inside. Maybe it will replace Southern Living, which most months seems to be a big waste of my $$$$. With all the wonderful blogs available for free, it is hard to spend the cash on something full of advertisements.
I’m a tightwad like that.

Have fun in Nashville! We were there last weekend for a fun tourist weekend and fell in LOVE with the place.
We never watch live tv. We only dvr and it's always hgtv, foodnetwork, discovery channel.

I have a show I watch like that ..cracks me up..but I can not watch it with kids around or others…I get paranoid. It is my inner humor on the screen that not many get to see. Gives me a laugh that is actually OUT LOUD!! ha!
We should all have a few guilty pleasures.

My husband and I joke about me "having an affair" with my DVR because I don't want anyone else touching it. I do think "New Girl" is cute.
Enjoy the Pearl event. It's hard to do an event on your own but sometimes that's when we grow the most.
